2 Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967
Запретил дискриминацию по возрасту при приеме на работу и обязательное увольнение на пенсию (с некоторыми исключениями). Относится ко всем государственным учреждениям и частным работодателям, имеющим более 20 работников, агентствам по трудоустройству и профсоюзам с числом членов более 25. Закон запрещает помещение объявлений о найме [ Help wanted!], в которых указывается предпочтение работодателя относительно возраста кандидата (например, исключаются слова типа "девушка" ["girl"] или "в возрасте 35-55 лет").
